HCAHPS scores

Val Verde Regional Medical Center is constantly striving to do more for our patients. We want our patients to feel secure knowing they are in the best hands. Patients are randomly selected to participate in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey that collects data on a national level.

We evaluate our scores along with the state average and nation average to better improve our care. Scores are measured through several questions, including communication with doctors and nursing staff, pain management, cleanliness, and overall satisfaction.
